Who We Are
The USS Monocacy is a local Star Trek fan club based in Frederick, Maryland. We are a part of the fan organization Star Trek: The Fleet.
Covering ALL eras of the Star Trek franchise, THE FLEET is a growing fan organization that focuses on costuming, giving back to the community through volunteer work with different charity organizations, and most importantly, having fun!

These are the voyages of the USS Monocacy, a fan club located in Frederick, MD. Happily serving all of Maryland, West Virginia panhandle, Southern Pennsylvania, and Northern Virginia.
Our ongoing mission... To seek out like minded Star Trek fans and make new friends.... To wear and enjoy the Star Trek uniforms we all love. To act through the ideals of Star Trek, seeking to better ourselves and our communities... To help the local community through charity and local aid. To attend conventions, play board games, read Star Trek novels, hang out, and share our collective passions for Star Trek.

Step Into Cosplay
There is an extra element of fun in this club where we all enjoy cosplay - that is putting on Starfleet uniforms, ranks and ship roles. Most of the time we are just casual, hanging out and enjoying the company of fellow Trekkies! For those that are interested, there are occasions to put on our uniforms and have a little extra fun! It is NOT required to wear uniforms if you don't want to - if you'd rather just attend the club as a casual fan and have great conversations, thats totally fine! For members who are interested in getting themselves into Starfleet uniforms, we can help you with the right resources!
How to Become a Member
To become a member, all you have to do is fill out the form on the Enlist page of our site, send me a personal text, or reach out to me on Facebook. There is NO membership fee or cost to join (except for purchasing your uniform, if you want one). So beam on aboard and join the crew - come out and have fun with some local Trekkies!
